{Teacher TRAC is not currently
accepting Applications for the 2008-2009 School Year!}
What is TSP?
The Teaching Math & Science
Scholar Program offers selected Teacher TRAC students the opportunity to enhance their academic
accomplishments with professional experience while at Cerritos College.
School Districts are seeking teachers with a strong mathematics and science
background. The TSP program offers Teacher TRAC students the opportunity
to gain valuable experience in Elementary School Math & Science Classrooms
within a local school.
What's involved
with TSP?
The teaching Scholar works
with a Teaching Scholar Elementary School Master Teacher, and is paid for
fieldwork at an elementary school in math and science. Teaching Scholar
students receive mentoring from faculty members at Cerritos College as well as
through the elementary school the scholar is assigned to. In addition to
this, the Teaching Scholar and their mentors will attend conferences and
workshops together in order to expand their knowledge in the field of Math and
Science.
